Users of the library is entitled to:

• go into the library
• use the collection of the library on the spot
• use the catalogue
• get information about the library and the services of the library’s system

Registration fee:

• full price: for adults 600, Ft
• Favourable price: students older than 16 years 300 Ft
• free for: children under 16 years, adults above 70 years
• registration fee is valid for 1 year counted from the act of registration

You have to give tho following data at registration:

• name
• mother’s name
• place of birth
• address
• number of identity card or passport

Please inform us about changes in your personel data.

Other services:

• photocopying: A/4 25,- Ft A/3 40,- Ft
• renting out the reading room for half a day: 7500,- Ft
• renting out the reading room for one day: 15000,- Ft
• sending fax : 150,- Ft / pages
• receiving fax: 40,- Ft / pages
• use of the internet is free, but the use of computers is 150,-Ft/30 minutes because of the amortisation of the PC’s
• printing digital document: 40,- Ft / pages
• Scanning: 40,- Ft/pages

Borrowing information

• you only can borrow 5 books at one occassion

Borrowing deadline

• normal borrowing: 4 weeks
• compulsory literature: 2 weeks
• Documents od the reader room (handbooks, periodicals, audiovisual documents) : limited, depending on the actual situation but maximum 1 week
• Thesis’, daily papers, bulletins, fresh periodicals: you cannot borrow them
• You can lenghten the deadline twice

If you do not take back the book in time, you have to pay for delay:
-    reader room’s documents: 100Ft/day/book
-    compulsory literature: 100Ft/day/book
-    Normal borrowing: after first warning: 100 Ft
-    after second warning: 200 Ft
-    after third warning: 400 Ft

If you lose or cause damage to a borrowed book, you have to compensate thelibrary with the same publication of the given work, or you have to pay the worth of the book.
Works that are not in the stock is presented to the reader in demand by interlibrary loan. The post coverage of this is 600 Ft and the information via phone costs 100 Ft. If the document arrives in photocopied form, the borrower should pay the post coverage and the price of photocopying to the other library.

• about other libraries’ services
• information about the town (municipal sessions, protocols, edicts)

Information about technical litarature:

• literature searching
• information of local knowledge and local history
• presentation of biblographic data
• musical information
• computer services (Complex CD Lawstore, Internet access, use of word prcessor)

Programmes:

• classes about use of books and uses of the library
• quizez
• literary and musical programmes
